I have had this idea but in a different spot for the short USB connector so I can charge while in the holder, I like it.

I like the camo wrap, I can see what you mean that it didn't like the curves..

It's all good, post up pics of the new ride you can still hang out with us all. We got Tacoma's, FJ's, Tundra's, heck its a Toyota..OH and congrats.

:notsure: If you like it, go with it. Not my thing personally (unless you ran with it and wrapped the whole truck or trimmed the whole interior) but to each their own.

The mount and USB setup is awesome. I need to look into doing something like that

I know the biggest thing is how it drives, most don’t like how the transmission shifts. There is a tsb for it and it does help. Also check the rear axle for leaks, there was an issue with this when they came out. It’s a different animal then your previous truck so take that into account when driving it.

He gets paid more than me to spend 90% of his time riding in a truck.

    He'll get over it.

It is normal depending on the model and color.. at least that is what I see on the assembly line

That's what I figured. I'm just not sure what the criteria is. I think they look better without it, no matter the color.

I think the roof should be the same way, at least in this color.

It’s only my opinion, but I think the Idea was to give the illusion of a continuous front to back window. And with the dark colors it was unnecessary.

It doesn't look too shabby but I'd probably have to see it in person or on a wider spectrum before I could say yea or nay. I'd say run it a bit and if you're just not happy, peel it off. In that time it may try coming off on it's own or something and help you decide as well. Then you'll likely have your answer.

Yea, that's what I think I'm going to do. It was a fun, though meticulous, $20 project so if it doesn't work out I'm not worried about it.

Now I just need to make that damn subwoofer fit the truck. Crutchfield said it would fit behind the seats but I can't fold them back up with it back there. Even with the storage thing out. Might end up building one, which is a shame because it came with a really nice box I'd like to use.
