We visited the Big Island last month for spring break, and Kilauea was getting pretty active then. The videos of the lava coming out of the ground are intense. We visited the Kaimu beach, and drove right past Leilani Estates when we were out there.

Hope everyone over there stays safe, and that the impact on lives is minimal.

Yeah man, it's one thing when it comes down from the mountain and you can see it. But randomly popping up out of the ground is freaky. Who knows where it will strike next. The roads keep cracking. It can pop up anywhere, maybe under a house.

I hear ya, Jarrad. My wife's cousin lives in Volcano, about 5 minutes from the Kilauea crater.

    Not much, yet.
Any chance you'd be able to add my name to the list? Just moved up here a few months ago.

    Done and done

I was just exploring out that way a few days ago. It has been a few years since I was out there, and was reminded of why I like that area so much!

High Steel Bridge is the "high" one :rasta:. The others are random creeks and waterfalls found around FS-23 in the Olympia Nat'l Forest, and a nice shot on the way back out on the W. Skokomish Valley Rd.

Here's a cool video @mutilatedjak made from a run we did out there a few years back (shit! that was over 5 years ago now!!!):
