I know right, or go back down to $1.50... it seems people are overly optimistic about their change in business model

bahahah. I'll just keep a watchful eye on it. It's been under the radar for a while, but sometimes I see it at the top of the gains list and go, what the hell. And then I look at the chart and think man, I could have doubled my money. This time I'm not forgetting. lol

well all things considered, they were at 9 bucks in august of 2016 and have been dropping ever since. It hasn't even begun to bounce back until February of this year when it hit sub $1. That's a brutal drop. I think there's still some room to jump in. I just need to keep an eye on it.

it's highly risky, but I'm currently reading up on the new person that's been moving and shaking the company, apparently moving to revamp the entire store. A good track record at Hudson's Bay, Lord and Taylor's, and some work at Macy's. I haven't heard of the first two, but Macy's seems like they're doing okay considering the onslaught of Amazon competition. Maybe they are well equipped for the future.

yeah, I always thought they were for older people, but I may be wrong. I have no clue if they will try to beef up their e-commerce.. I could have swore I read somewhere that they were. But I'm not sure.

FWIW, I see an advantage of brick and mortar for clothing, since people can try stuff and make sure they like how it fits and stuff. I rarely buy clothes online unless it's something I already have and I know how it's sized and what it looks like. So there may be an advnatage if they can position themselves better in the market. Hell, H&M gets away with selling cheap shit and they're a mutli billion dollar company

Brands vary too much in sizes. Especially with my lanky ass body type. I only order clothes online if it's from something I already have

oh yeah for sure, same here. But it gets a lot riskier when the share price is so low and the volume is equally as low... big chance for price shifts. But it could bode well for those that get in early and ride the bumpy path up.

I stick to the Levis. used to be a 32x34 but they must have made them smaller. So I went up to 34x34. Too big in the waist without a belt, but I got them so when I get my CCW I wont need to buy new pants

Tell me about your e-commerce developments. Our website is doing terrific. Our demand sales were up 80 percent, and we're trending very close to that in Q1 so far. That is obviously is a great form of marketing. It's obviously driving sales so we're learning a tremendous amount about our ability to sort of push boundaries of what we can sell. We don't have the restraints of real estate. We don't have to worry about what fits within the four walls.

We're trying new product categories, we're branching out into things like fine jewelry. We'll soon have men's big and tall on there, we're starting to put a little bit of children's product on there. It allows us to do things that we're not necessarily doing in the stores. So, lots more to do, lots more opportunity yet.

How about ship-to-store? You've seen success with that in the fall, and you're rolling it out a lot more now with another 60 stores in February. What do you attribute that success to? In the past, once our e-commerce warehouse sold out of an item, the item just dropped off our website. It no longer appeared to the customer as an option... . After Q4, with some technology enhancements, we are now able to fill the order that the customer buying is online from the stores. So, the customer still thinks they're buying it from SteinMart.com. But now once the inventory was no longer in the ecommerce warehouse, we are now able to go out to our stores to fill the order. So, instead of missing that sale because the item would have fallen off of the website, we are now able to get it from our store inventory. We own the inventory, we just weren't able to access it in the past.

So, number one, we can start to understand how big is big in terms of the demand. In the past, there was no way for us to capture that data in terms of what that demand was. Number two, it's obviously a sale for us that we wouldn't have gotten in the past, and number three, we're obviously satisfying the customer, because the customer was there wanting the product that we wouldn't have been able to fill in the past. It makes more productive, it drives sales. Win, win, win. We rolled out another 60 stores the beginning of February, and by the end of next month, we'll have all 290 stores.

same here, always get the next size up for pistol carry. I usually wear 32 as well, but get 34 for that very reason.
