Did you have a bad experience with a new one or reman?

The new ones are garbage I agree.

My remans are perfectly fine though. Wish I just rebuilt the oem though !

I just blew up a reman after 5k miles. I was pretty pissed. Might go with autozone warranty ones while I save up for tons and 40’s haha

sorry I did not disassemble them to diagnose, just dropped their dead carcasses on the counter and said gimme' a new one. We noticed a "clunk" from the first one and when I reached under to give it a wiggle it had a ton of play in it laterally and the inner seemed excessively loose. The second one, she had taken the T4R offroad near her Mom's place in Yucca Valley but just some dirt road driving. She called me and said there was an occasional "crunchy" sound in the front end so when she got home I jacked it up and when I spun the drivers side wheel sure enough ...there was a crunchy sound that was coming from the outer. When I took the second one back I asked for my original one back but it was already gone so I specified that I wanted a reman and that one has been in for a year or more now without any further issues. I wish I would have bought one of the cheap new ones and used it as a temp while having the OE repaired :/

Anyone available tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning to help me figure out why my sisters s-10 keeps overheating? There’s evidence of a leak but lack the tools to do anything with it (all of mine are in Reno). Still limping my way down having to stop every hour or so to cool it down and top it off.

I don't have a place to work, minimal tools and minimal knowledge on fixing this overheating problem however if I'm free I'm more than happy to lend a hand however I can

If no one with more tools, space or experience jumps in shoot me a PM. I'll send you my number and we can coordinate.

Mine is a daily driver and there is no reason to have that especially with aftermarket coils.

    Yes it really does help
