Got the vest finally!

Now to build the gear set.

Not 100 percent sure on a DIY but I prototyped for a company who needed help designing a ‘18 grille and once everything was proven to function properly he sent me a finished product free of charge. I know he used a bracket and textured plexiglass for the front sensor.

yeah you put it in the box on that grill; it would be silly to put a suggestion for another truck in your truck's suggestion box

Yea that’s the mount and plexiglass insert for the TSS sensor. Toyota decided it was an amazing idea to mount the radar in the OEM logo on the OEM grille so you’re either stuck with oem, have to go with a pro grille with the radar mount already build in, or wait on the aftermarket companies to catch up with the new designs for something new. It’s not pretty but if you unplug the radar all together and leave it disconnected your dash is filled with error messages and amber warning lights that flash and won’t go away until the radar is detected again.

 

And it’s actually flat black the sun is reflecting off of it in the picture

 

Oooooh it’s gonna look good....man I wish I had my lift right now. And it should sit almost flush with those faux-rivot flares I got from @JRMiller. Gonna wrap them in either a matching white vinyl and paint the faux-rivots black or go with a matte black vinyl. Haven’t decided yet
