Caved and stopped at a repair place. Noticed a fairly steady leak when pulling into gas station and don’t feel comfortable going further. I’ve been stopping every 10-15miles so far. Doesn’t help that it’s hot as balls up here in Riverside

Would much rather do it myself, especially since I’m not the one ultimately footing the bill.

Not looking forward to afternoon traffic later when I get down that way.

Hopefully it's a quick and easy (spelled cheap) fix! Good luck.

It's a big difference in a good way without it one and aftermarket coils. If you don't like how it rides its easy enough to put it back on.

Im super slammed with work at the moment however I can probably help you figure it out if you give more info.
What year and motor? What things need to happen or lack thereof to cause it to heat up, and does it stay cool on the freeway or is it worse in slower traffic?

Edit: saw post on this page and looks like a leak....

I have to pick up Kass at the airport at 6:30 tonight and then we're going to head over to Brewski's if anyone is in the area. I'm figuring we'll probably get there by 7:30.

OK so its come time for me to get a Tractor!!!
Been looking for a few weeks trying to educate myself.

So I found a lightly used (just over 600 hours) Yanmar 180D Compact tractor, comes with a 5' bucket and a 3 point/3 speed PTO and a Diesel 3cyl 23hp motor.
Anybody have any experience with this stuff?? Its a lightly used Japanese brand. And it can fit through a 5' wide space so it will get through my gates..

Seems to be in traffic. Was fine on the highway until I got stuck in traffic and slowed down. Of course it has warmed up drastically since I started this morning.

So it sounds to me like air movement is a possible culprit, does it have an electric or clutch type radiator fan?

That's a sweet setup. Definitely get something with a 3 point hitch and you'll have a ton of accessories available.

    Check My Sig.
This is a very common question and I’ve seen both sides. At the end of the day it’s about preference. I find that it “frees” up the suspension and allows the suspension to act as an individual unit as opposed to getting feedback from the opposing side.

As for travel, it’s hard to find actual numbers but it essentially keeps the suspension in a sort of bind. It’s not that much a difference though. I’ve done some pretty intense trails with a sway bar. It’s not make or break.

You do get additional body roll though so you just have to be comfortable with that. I don’t have an issue with it but it’s a balance between spring rate, weight of he truck, and valving of he shock itself.

My parents have a Kubota tractor that size. They do it all. Not as crazy as a bobcat, but they do it all. just a bit slower.

Yeah Bobcats are pretty steep. With the 3 point hitch on the Yanmar you can get a small bush hog mower deck. Should be able to find plenty of used equipment.

yep, hated going to a shop to have it done but didn't have a choice. got down here about 90minutes ago and am exhausted. radiator was toast, something I could have easily done myself for a lot less. conveniently it took long enough for me to hit the March AFB traffic and then ALL of San Diego traffic getting out to Spring Valley.

Doesn't take much to hit traffic in SoCal. Glad you got it fixed.

What a pain in the butt. But hey, it's done! Yeah... traffic down here can blow especially when you hit it at rush hour. Time to crack a cold one and relax
