    You know Ima dreamer, and my heart’s offroad. I had to drive away high, so I didn’t get stuck low. Home Sweet Home...

    What's up all, been traveling the states and Canada for 8 months with my wife in our rig. Been to a few meetups along the way. Would love to meet up for a few beers and bs if anyone is down. Currently in Durham, headed to Asheville on Monday for a few days to scope it out. Pic for attention:

    I'm in Asheville/Fairview and I've been seeing TacomaWorld stickers so I figured I'd chime in. Just moved down here a year ago. Here's my adventure machine:

    Nice! I'm around Arden all the time so there's a good chance of that. Roofbox is off the truck but it looks the same otherwise. Planning on getting some new wheels/tires next year and hopefully taking the cap off once I have a place to store it again.

    Good deal! I work at Lulu’s in fletcher, if you ever drive by you’ll see my truck out back. Starting in a few weeks I’ll be there all day everyday.

    What kinda wheels and tires?

    Black FN Fivestars and BFG AT's in 265/75/16. That's what I like right now at least. Next year who knows. :)

    I've been having an issue with one of my current tires losing pressure so I may end up having to escalate things.

    Hell yeah! Those fn wheels look good. Keep an eye out on Craigslist and tacomaworld for sale pages. You can usually find wheel and tire combo’s for a pretty good deal.

    Now that the weather is getting warm, I think it would be kinda cool if us Tacoma guys started to get together maybe for dinner ever couple weeks at Rockies or something. Just a thought

    Heck yeah I grew up there so but it has changed immensely since then but it's still cool and lots of history that's cool to know. Go watch the movie Bull Durham a couple of those houses that are in some of the scenes were some of my families houses and I grew up watching the Bulls play ball in that stadium.

    Howdy all!

    Asheville, NC seems to be where it’s at. Just picked my 1st gen up about a week or so ago after searching for months to find the right one. I knew there had to be plenty of Tacoma owners here since they practically rule WNC. Read through and saw lots of folks from the surrounding area so I hope to see you all at meet-ups if they happen around here.

    If you see The Fett and Dashboard Jesus out and about, give us a wave!

    Welcome to WNC @Boba_Taco . We don't have any meet up locally in Asheville that I'm aware of, but willing to do some. I have a few guys planning on doing the Hurricane Creek trail in a couple weeks of interested. Sharp 1st gen!

    @dakar650
    Thanks, she’s definitely looking sharper with each part that shows up. Another member mentioned Hurricane Creek earlier today. I’ve heard of Max Patch which I guess is reached by way of hurricane creek, so that sounds like a ton of fun. I’ll see if the wife is up for it. We’ve been itching to get out.
