I've recently gotten into cycling and wondering if there are any other road guys out there? If so what are you riding?

Here's my bike but I swapped the pedals for true clip-less

Can't say I'm a roadie but have done it. Take me to the trails any day. For what its worth, I see a boat load of roadies on Otay Lakes Road heading East to Jamul. I used to see many more doing hwy 1 up the coast through Del Mar, La Jolla, Solana Beach, etc.
For practice, my buddies would ride around Fiesta Island.

    I had to. :D

I used to be. Did it for about a yr to help my knee recover from a running injury.

Was riding a Specialized Allez with some Continental Tires and Specialized Clipless pedals as well. Loved my bike but I stopped using it so I sold it. I kinda wanna try mountain biking now.

I use to ride a local river trail and occasionally do a nice 60-70 mile ride through Santiago Canyon and PCH.

    Never rode in SD though.

Good looking Roadie When I was riding I had Two Specialized Carbon Fiber Bikes on one I rode Spinningers and the other was Specialized Tri Spokes. I did 15 tri's 18 dues and over 70 Road races. All before a wreck in 2001 where I had to have Brain Surgery and have been on Social Security ever since. I was a Cat 3 at the time.

Yea I got this from a friend who wanted it out of his house and I kinda figured I dont have time to go ride the trails unless school is out for the summer. I can just ride this from my front door and not worry about time spent driving to the trails. Heres a picture of the bikes I have back home Transition DH, Ironhorse Slopestyle, Giant XC (not in the picture) and Giant STP dirtjumper.

Thats a nice bike. If I get more serious about it I'll look to invest in a better bike. Mine is like 8 yrs old or something but it works for me. I'm not really riding over 20 miles at a time just yet. However, my gf's dad is into riding centuries and double centuries so he's always telling me to come train with him and he will lend me a bike to ride a real ride with him. He rides a few different Pinarello Prince's (way out of my budget for a bike though)

It has rained almost everyday this month, so lately...very few. I'm just a recreational rider and I commute to work now and again. I'd say I ride 2-3 times a week when the weather is nice. My rides are generally 20-30 miles at a time. As for training, I will just ride a longer distance as it gets easier. I did a 60 mile ride last year which was pretty brutal, at the time anyway. We are looking to Ride from Columbus to Cinci sometime this summer which should put me right at about 100 miles...should be fun.
