    Durango has some killer restaurants and breweries, but it's a college town.

    I pretty much stopped drinking when I moved to AZ from SC.

    Looking for dog friendly food places if possible. If not, doggo can stay at cabin.

    I’ve never been to Colorado, so I’m down for parks, exploring, and eating. Moab was the original plan but almost all dog friendly rentals are full that weekend. I figured I’d either hit Moab on the way home from Colorado or wait til my vacation to Yellowstone in September. I should probably wait for my sliders to arrive before I tempt myself with Moab.

    @Stig

    Do all of us a favor and don't visit Yellowstone any time too soon. Thanks.

    As others have pointed out, Durango is pretty fun...try out Ken and Sue's as well as Chimayo Stone Fired Kitchen for food options. I wholeheartedly recommend Mesa Verde National Park. You can probably find camping or hiking pretty easily all around Mancos.

    My buddy owned a brewery back east so I didn’t pay for beer for a couple years. Now I just drink a Yuengling or two while camping with certain friends or after a really bad day at work. My supply is very limited though.

    Mesa Verde is definitely on the list. I’m willing to travel within a couple hours drive from the cabin to go explore. Need to explore more of the West and get out of the desert more often.

    In that case, definitely take a look at Ouray/Telluride/Silverton/Lake City. I'm not sure what the camping and hiking situation looks like right now...that whole area is about 20% of where it should be in terms of snow. If you end up feeling really ambitious, you can go about 3 hours east to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Medano Pass in that area is on the short list for a few of us.

    Snow up high, but it's actually pretty dry otherwise. Camping is stellar now cause no one's out yet.

    BRUH! Wheel? Are you crazy. I would get my $200 Adias shoes from Park Meadows dirty. :D

    In all seriousness, heading out on a desert trip on the 15th ;)

    If you're wanting to try a little wheeling, head up Echo Basin just NE of Mancos. West side of the LaPlatas, lots of smaller lakes and reservoirs around. I'm in Durango mostly

    I guess Yellowstone is having some increased activity. Between that and Hawaii...
