I see lots of people ding others for posting threads on the 2nd Generation board stating it should not be here, so I am looking for clarification.

Since based on the number of boards from this site, all lift suspension questions do not belong here they have their own thread. Questions related to any head units and stereos should be in the audio video board. All the tire questions go in the tire board. Issue related to the lights should be in the light board.

The only place that does not have a specific board is the 6 cylinder, so based on that, the only way not to upset the board police is to post questions, comments related to 6 cylinder 2nd generation trucks. And I guess trim related repairs.

Yeah, I don't know, because most of the 2nd genners seem too busy posting in 1st gen threads.

All my points exactly. No one has yet to clarify what goes in this forum only to say that my thread does not. So does anyone know what exactly should be limited to this forum, as with other forums I am a member of, if the question comments were related to the model year being discussed in this case the 2nd Generation Toyota Tacoma Truck Model years 2005-present, then all was good.

Please tell me that you are simply using sarcasm for humor. I truly hope that you realize how pitiful you appear when you try to "pull rank" somehow on an online forum. The three posts I have had have been efforts to bring a sense of perspective to folks who, because of their "senior member" status on an online forum pertaining to trucks, feel some misplaced sense of superiority to others.

What with all the "Have you tried the search function" comments that make it seem as if so many topics are just too old hat to the seasoned vets on this forum to be wasting their time, I had figured that someone would find a bit of humor in my initial comment. I now see the serious error of my ways.
