Sounds like a reasonable idea made in a calm manner. I'd definitely keep the topic open for discussion. Without closing the door on a Tundra, maybe float other options like Forerunner or ask if there are any other priorities besides the baby seat.

Installed volt meter

 

I had to look twice. It looks like your trailer plug has damaged your spare tire.

 

Nope, I actually installed a relocation bracket for the plug that tucks it up out of the way

Cutting it off is only part of today's project.
Taking an early lunch break, and thought I'd post a teaser pic.

 

I cut mine off too. With plate bumper/IFS skid, it's an eyesore and could potentially get caught on something

Don't forget you need two washers, I had found same size crush washers at ace hardware store

 

Removed the sway bar today. I don't drive my truck often but thought I'd try it for a bit.
For anyone doing this, the easiest way for me to wiggle that thing out is to remove 1 tire.

 

It was time for an oil change today and a little engine cleaning....and beer.
Here is the engine before.... and here is after..... Not quite @ChadsPride level of cleanliness but maybe another round of cleaner and then I will use the engine shine. Gotta start somewhere.
