Tried to change my rear brake shoes and drum internals but I couldn't get the drums off...

Finished a 12 pack of Sam Adams between the 2 of us though, if that counts for something.

There’s a oval rubber plug on back to adjust kinda a pia to reverse.
I think it’s called a star wheel/adjusters not really sure.
There should also be 2 tapped holes on the drum M-10 maybe?
These are to pop off the drums when beating them doesn’t work!!

I tried beating them, and even using an air hammer on it but that wouldn't do it (with the e-brake off of course). Tried a drum puller tool (whatever they're called), pry bars, and a torch to heat it up a little bit but nothing worked.

I couldn't find any bolts that fit into the threads, so i've been trying to figure out what size to get at the hardware store. I'll give the M-10s a shot. Any idea how long they need to be?

    Not positive on thread size.
M10x1.5 is common M-8x1.25 not sure in the pitch for the M-8.
Think the ones I used were like 1/14 1/12 so like 30-37mm.
I don’t have a drill chart here so I’m running off memory lol.

Can you send me a pick of how you mounted it in the channel? I'm trying to figure it out but the clearance in the gap from the side to the hood is INCREDIBLY tight and I'm worried about rub and hit.
