Bet I could eat that whole tray. I haven’t been to the gym in 7 years or so. Still a solid 120 lbs though. Met a girl that wants to stay fit and seems set on bulking me up for her own pleasure.

 

Just saw this in my sink and thought my buddy Norm was here.

 

My wife isn’t into healthy eating. She’s Chinese and thinks pork needs to be in every dish. But, somehow she stays thin and I just get rounder. I’ve started a new regimen to help deflate the spare tire. The new digs and the access to running trails will also be a huge boost in motivation. It’s hard to want to get out in my current neighborhood when I’m sidestepping dog shit, trashed furniture, broken corona bottles and broken fences.

 

I think pork should be in ever meal and I too am getting in shape.
The shape I chose is a circle.

I miss the things I used to do. So I’ve been trying to take the bull by the balls and get-er-done. Swam all week. 3.5 mile hike with the family today (Huston walked the whole way ). Dawn patrol surfing tomorrow morning with two old friends I haven’t seen in forever.


My best (unsolicited) advice is to just get out and fuckin do it. It’s addicting. The complacency on the couch after is waay better than coming home straight to beer.

For me it’s beef. But yea, Chinese stay looking like sticks no matter what they eat. The girls motivation is to stay looking good for the gram. Maybe that can be yours too.

 

I can relate bro! 3.5 years ago before our third was born I use to hit the weights and play racket ball 3 days a week. Now the kids consume all my spare time and I’m almost 30 lbs heavier and hella out of shape.

Now that my shoulder is doing better I’ve set up a makeshift gym in the corner of the garage and started riding my bike again. Don’t think Im quite ready to start swinging a racket yet. Can’t wait

 

Fuck the gram. I use it. But I’m not addicted to it like most people. I need to do it for myself, and my daughter. I want to make sure she grows up in an environment that values a healthy life; body, brain and soul.
