Like the title says, does anyone have any recommendations for what to use on the OEM leather seats in the 2018 models? I think its the same leather as the 2016 and 2017 limiteds.

Since it's not 100 percent leather, I've yet to see the benefit of conditioning. On my wife's rav4 with the leather hybrid, I just use any leather cleaner.

Do you need to know, or care?
I use the Toyota OEM leather cleaner that the service advisor recommended. Seems to work well enough.

I’m more concerned about conditioning than cleaning. I’ve already noticed some wrinkles in the side bolster and I’ve had it for just over two weeks. On a side note, I love the truck.

I've noticed the material is garbage. Mine showed wear in about the same timeframe yours did. That's unfortunate because I condition mine every week or two. I have had and seen other vehicles that rarely if ever get their leather treated without any signs of wear. Not only does ours feel like vinyl, it wears like it. I wish they would've used softex like the 4Runners or even better quality material like the Camry.

TRD Exhaust, Mobtown bolt on sliders and aluminum tailgate reinforcement, Reverse lights changed to yellow turn signals, LED pods added for reverse, ADD W1 oil catch can, Total Chaos bed reinforcement, rear diff breather to taillight mod, 12" combo led bars behind lower grill wired to high beams, Toyota led bed light kit, 400 watt anytime mod, SSO slimeline front bumper.
This puts a damper on the excitement for a 2018 with leather that I'm waiting for.

Are all of these things usable on the oem seats given that they’re not real leather?

The wrinkles that I’ve seen so far aren’t catastrophic so it isn’t the en of the world. The leather seats look nicer than cloth anyways. You’ll be happy.

Easier to clean as well. Just keep your expectations low. I know I did after I read reviews here. Hindsight wouldn't change my decision. As long as the "leather" doesn't tear I'll live with the wrinkles, bends, or whatever shows up. I'll just have to keep up with cleaning and conditioning way more than I would other vehicles to show things down.

Is anyone else’s squares in the leather wearing away already ? Truck is only 5 weeks old. Weird because it’s only on the front of the passenger seat. Might be on the driver seat because I typically have a car yoga towel on it for after my runs.

Notice how it’s starting to disappear at the top. It’s at least getting softer and starting to feel more like leather less like plastic 6193C226-8265-4875-B021-5B35E326BE1E.jpg

I bought lexol leather cleaner. Haven’t used it yet though

That’s odd. I’ll keep an eye out for it.
