I don't know if this will help much but when I had mine done at avid I asked Brandon to cut them back as far as he could. I've looked at mine compared to others and there is a noticeable difference. So it seems you've probably got room to work with on the cut angles.

I picked up a bumper from Brandon yesterday and he does great work. I would definitely go to him for a CMC.

Cut as far back as you can and call it good. I had to use a little more than just the full plates to fill mine in. But I was also clearing for 35's

I've done mine 3 times now for various tires/ suspension set ups. If I ever did one for someone I would cut it all the way back on the first go.

It's 2 hours each way for me. If you happen to be down there already it probably wouldn't take too long.

Agreed, it's about 3-3.5 depending on traffic one way for me.

Drive faster. I routinely drive from Tempe to Flag and I average 2. Avid can’t be more than 30 from me

Seems to be my life for last 10 years. Last 4 years moving into this house, I've needed to do lots of yard work that falls right in the middle of summer. That or moving in the middle of summer.

People who move in the middle of summer ought to be shot. Especially if you've lived here long enough to know that qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment.

We got our final work done a month and a half ago. Last thing to do is plant, we'll wait until Fall for that...

Anyone have any suggestions on mattresses?

I like the idea (price) of the tuft and needles and stuff like that.

Anyone have lower back issues? I have a herniated disk in my lower back and my mattress is not cutting it.

Just trying to figure out what’s worth looking at!

I have a sleep number. Sometimes in the 80's number range and other times in the mid 50's. Depending on how the back is doing . Bad siatic nerve and bulged disck in neck . My wife's side is in the 30's. You need anrope to get out of the hole she sleeps in .I couldn't do it. When it's play time. Both sides go to 80 . It's like a bed with airbags in it .
