@90yota It took me about 30 minutes,I did it on my lunch hour at work. Having use of the hoist and all my air tools probably saved 20 minutes. If you want to swing by and take a listen and a drive just holler.

Finally got around to taking off my dealership sticker & my chrome V6 badge. Now debating on derping the Tacoma badges or removing them

 

I used my SR like a truck for work Thursday (I’m a beer and wine salesman). Heading down to Denali National Park to open some of my seasonal accounts. Heck of a lot nicer for this work than my Outback was.

 

Added some non oem cross bars, but didn't notice any quality issues. Install was straight forward and no mpg loss in the stowed position.

 

Toned the chrome on my grille down a bit.

 

OME med installed today.

 

Certainly not the odd man out by any means. Keep on enjoying your ride in whatever form you chose to keep it in. I've always like the small amount of chrome-like accents on these trucks.

I think the blacked out badges on your QS will look sweet. I've seen many kits for doing this...matte black overlays/skins/whatever they are....that go right over the badges and look great. Quick and easy way to see how it looks....comes with everything you need to cover each factory badge as well as the Toyota emblem on the grill. I'll see if I can find a link.

One nice thing about RTTs is you dont have to roll them up in mud or wet sand if it rains, but be careful about drying it asap- a member here lost a CVT RTT to mold for keeping it closed up when wet.

You are right about haters- I teach middle schoolers and so many have issues with self esteem, its sad to see how much they go through. Even the ones that hate are hurt, people need to remember that when helping even them.
