been a tough month... I had to say goodbye to my dog/best friend/significant other of 14 years at Easter, and then spent a month delivering baby lambs and not sleeping... just poking my head back above water again... but life goes on and it's hard to feel sad in the spring, everything is a beautiful green and there is so much new life. 24 lambs out there on the pasture. Thanks for asking, how's things with you?

Thats the only room that I've got .....

    65 vintage Drag racing pics

    USMC memorabilia

NASCAR memorabilia including 45 diecast cars

The rest of my place has maybe 8 pictures at most very conservative !! .Those pics are mostly scenery pics , no racing pics or USMC memorabilia anywhere else

The cat tree will not stay there and may relocate to the living room . actually this new tree is bigger than expected I may get rid of it because of its shear size

The reason why that cat tree is in this room is because I assembled it in there , it won't stay there !!!

you are exactly right! and nothing beats watching sheep graze, it's good for the soul. Sorry to hear about your loss, it sure isn't easy, they don't live long enough. Rudy the idiot needs a good smack upside the head!... I have yet to encounter an idiot and my truck is still pristine. Sounds like you have the spring fever busy list going! I haven't fired up the ridem mower yet but my 25 year old push mower started on the 1st pull like it always does, on stale gas from last year... they don't make em like they used to :)

Well I felt brave today. Brought out all the summer yard stuff, hook up the hoses, and turned on the water. Probably will snow next week. Wife is making spaghetti and I’m trying not to fall asleep in my chair.

I fucking swear... I have been more absent minded today than ever!

Got to local regional airport, checked a bag (had to show ID-my DL).
Time to kill, sat in observation deck area for an hour or so. TSA public announcement that they are now open, head to PreCheck line. Can’t find DL where I last put it... check every book of my purse. Nope. Pockets. Nope. Backtrack to ladies room. Nope. Observation room. Nope. Back to ticketing desk. Nope. Ask TSA Agent. Nothings been turned in... freak-out mode is setting in...
Agent, the supervisor, calmly starts asking about each location I’ve already listed above. Nope.

Then she asks about the pockets on my shirt front... fuck me... I never ever have used those on any shirt. And I specifically recall saying to myself “don’t forget where you just put your DL!”

Flash forward to landed in SLC. 2.5 hour layover, enough time for breakfast and a beer. Of course the carryon bags had to go with us... knowing PDX/Astoria will be cool, I have my coat out and with me... and draped over the bar chair.
Beer was cold. Breakfast was yummy. Time to head to the gate. I had just plopped my ass down in the first available seat and all of a sudden, I’m being paved over the concourse PA!!!
Holy crap! That’s never happened! What did I do???
Oh. Yea. I enjoyed my beer and breakfast a little too much and left my coat on the bar chair...

I swear... I just want to get thru this day in one piece. (Mostly with my brain still intact. Is that too much to ask?)

    Welcome to world !!

A few weeks ago I can't find my new sunglasses so I'm looking everywhere for them . After about an hour I'm getting pissed that I can't find them . a few minutes pass and I'm walking by a mirror and I realize they're on my hat that I'm wearing

I've also have misplaced my keys , look everywhere can't find them then I look at the carabiner on my belt loop , yep they're right there

    I'm 56 and I've got CRS syndrome bad !!!
