I got my $325 head unit tax-free on Crutchfield, because they only charge tax to residents of Virginia, where their headquarters are located...

Then that’s why. We don’t charge tax on items shipped out of MD. It’s a MD Tax Law. You pick it up in MD, you’re paying tax. Same as Virginia and I’m pretty sure PA and every other state that has sales tax.

For free install, I don't care about tax...

Also, if I go through with this, can I take pics of the install process to post on TW?

I’m not following... If you pick it up from our shop, install or not you’re paying tax. Only way around no tax is if I ship it to you, which is $125...

Yes, post all you want. No secrets here.

$125 shipping and I have to install it myself, or $75 tax, a nice road trip, and free installation...

It's obvious what the best deal is here!

Hey, I talked with a family member and thought about it for a long time. I cannot realistically afford one of your bumpers right now. I do plan on buying one at some point in the future, but right now all I can afford is to bring my truck back to it's pre-collision state. That is going to be at least a grand.

I thank you guys for all of your helpful insight!

As long as it wasn’t communism black. That’s what my dad called the 80’s and 70’s black on the mercs

It is something out of Asia, and I believe Toyota owned Daihatsu. I saw one for the first time in like 1997, when we were living California. California has some of the strictest (and dumbest) emissions regulations in the country. This Rocky was left-hand drive and had California plates, so obviously it was a US model. I'd never seen one before, and I had to ask the woman driving it what it was...
