    Ardbeg is no joke as you guys know.

    Hours and hours of 'perfect' line, takes just one wrong line or just off the brake one second with aluminum skids and :annoyed:

    Yeah I dented one in pretty good below my oil pan. I don’t remember hitting that area on anything but it bent the 1/4” pretty good. Its still fine for now. I’ll keep it and see after another wheeling trip how it does.

    Sucks. I know when I got the cooler of off ya I was saying my life with aluminum skids. Meh. See how she goes. If it’s only once in a while. Smash it out and your good to go.

    Just bashed in. Upper bar is straight.
    For the skid im just going to take it off. Straighten it and then make a metal skeleton skid and use the aluminum for full protection. Should have done that from the start.

    Lol, @Jake4848 and I did those trails and didn't touch skids at all, although my hitch did touch plenty of rocks... it's all about picking the right line and patience.

    I love my steel skids for when I make a mistake, and hear the 'thud' I can backup take a better line or another look then the correct line. Knowing I did no damage because I am fully protected. Everyone has different idea's for their toys :cookiemonster:
