It's a Helmholtz resonator. The V6 has it too, just happens to be on the intake past the airbox.

I was afraid my rear was too high when I put on my all pro pack. If I remember correctly, I think the bilstein 5160s were good for 0-2" so I changed them out for the extended 5100s.

 

Is that available for a regular prime account?

 

The 2TR has a big resonator sitting on top of the valve cover... I was always under the impression that Helmholtz (at least for power) went post-MAF and filter.

The crazy thing about this is the merge on the neck looks like ass:


Usually when you are invoking the demonic magics of resonant frequencies your neck height and diameter is very important, this looks like it was chewed through by a rat and shoved together with some contact cement.

My guess is it's more for noise abatement than power... I could always cover the hole with foil tape and see if it gets louder...

Many a kid grew up in a vehicle doing long road trips, they survived.

The RV gives you a bathroom, a fridge, and a kitchen. All accessible without stopping. Also, a bed to take naps, and a table to play games at (not just watch movies, day after day).

Sleeping bags on the floor, they will fit.

Thanks to the people who chimed in on mattress suggestions. Went to the T&N store and payed on both the original and mint. I liked the mint, but it seemed a little too soft to help my back out. Really liked the original. Ordered it on the spot and can’t wait to try it. Hopefully it’s here tomorrow or so

 

At the dealer getting a new battery. They have 2 cement off roads and the 4Runner Offroad P’s are taunting me.

 

Enter in from the Marina, it's the same cost as the park. Private 3 lane launch ramp, closer to the tires for stripers, straight shot to rattlesnake and the mouth of the river. Don't forget submersible lights and a bunch of chovies.. You're going to need to get your bait down below 40-50 feet .

 

Would love one but doesn’t seem like it would fit my needs as well as a truck. Interior would get beat up with steel targets .

Still love those 4Runners!
