    Cool! I know for our climbing and repelling ropes it's suggested not to use a detergent but we use a very mild laundry soap and it has helped tremendously in the ropes lasting longer and getting more of the dirt out. I didn't know if these winch ropes were the same.

    Yep what I read said mild detergent, I figure dawn is safe on hands so it must be mild.
