Picked up a twin-pack from Lowe's today for $12.88, but I didn't buy anymore. That ought to bolster my fuel position until Memorial Day .

It's a point. Tasted great, tender and juicy. Wife even liked it!
    Thanks again for the advice.

Well sausage was made last night, it's resting at my friends in the spare fridge for the casing to tighten up. We ended up doing Kielbasa, Bratwurst and Jalapeno/Cheddar Sausage. For the little patties we made up and fried before the stuff happened it all tastes awesome. Kielbasa will go on the smoker tomorrow to get it ready. We are thinking about doing some Philly Cheese Steak sausage, Chicken Fajita Sausage and maybe a Gyro Sausage in the next couple of weeks. Trying to build up our stock of them for the memorial weekend camping trip.

“Hey there, I saw outside you’re having a sale on Kingsford? Is that all your stock or do you have more in back?”

Wow, grill will be delivered tomorrow. Pretty damn good coming freight. Just over 2 business days from time of order. Now, the question is, do I go back to work after the grill is delivered?

Wanted to smoke a bourbon maple pork loin tonight but the local grocery only had the pre-marinated ones. This one was apple bacon... not so sure about it. It has this stuff on it that I assume is chopped bacon. We'll see.

Well the verdict on the prepackaged/premarinated pork tenderloin is in: blech. Waaay to salty. We ended up throwing what we didn't eat away. I'll be going to another grocery to find a plain one I can season myself.

    #doityourself,#premarinatedsucks,#saltlick,#needanotherbeertowashthistasteouttamymouth

Edit: I put the chopped bacon from the top of the loin to good use - put them on my green beans! Life gives you lemons...

So is that Weber the taller version like the "mastertouch"? I like the taller ones, I currently have an older weber 18 inch and would like a taller grill with more surface area. according to the lowes site they are the same assembled height(42 inches).

I am a huge fan of pork tenderloins, and a big fan of salt/salty foods in general. That being said, any time i have cooked one of the pre-marinated tenderloins, in any seasoning/flavor, they have always disappointed.

I do mine overnight in a blend of Worcestershire, splash of dales, bit of A-1, some horseradish mustard, and a few shakes of cajun seasoning and montreal seasoning. One of our favorite meals (just don't overcook it). And once a week or so Kroger marks them down to about $3 each, so I'll grab 3 or 4, marinade all at the same time, throw one in the fridge for the next day and the rest in the freezer.

I’m not sure. I had a Smokey joe in college and that wasn’t deep at all. This one seems deeper to me.

I got the red limited kettle on sale at Lowe’s
    https://m.lowes.com/pd/Weber-Limite...um-22-in-Red-Kettle-Charcoal-Grill/1000340995

I think the master touch isn’t any deeper just has a few premium accessories.
