Sorry if there is already a thread on this. I am trying to remove my center caps on my wheels for painting, can anyone help me. Seems like I might crack them by prying them and I cant pull them off. Maybe I am a pussy.

    Thanks

Purchase some ATX Thugs. They'll fall off for you.

Once the wheel is off the truck, "tap" out the centercap by using the handle end of a screwdriver.
If you try taking it out with the wheel still on, there's the possibility of damage. (It can be done though)

If the wheels are still mounted, remove one lug nut.....It gives you much better access to pry them off.

They just pop out easily from the back side of the wheel. You are painting so you should be removing them.

    Thanks everyone.
I ended up removing the wheels and tapping them out. I am only painting the center cap black. I am leaving the wheel as is.
