FLYERS!!!! That was EPIC!!! Flyers - Montreal is going to be one AMAZING series! But I think Canadiens will end up on top, and they will end up beating Chicago for the cup

 

I have a feeling the Flyers would have been ranked higher had they not suffered so many injuries this season...I mean they were using their 3rd goalie for a while and their top scorers were injured a lot.

But I seriously cannot wait for the series to start!

 

I wish I could say the same. Got a little crazy after the flyers won last night. My head is fucken pounding. Had to break into my 800MG Ibuprophen stash this morning. Worst part is, I can't go back to sleep.

 

Not as strange as being down 3-1 in the series and coming back to win!!!

How do you explain being down 3-0 in a game 7 and losing 4-3. That is why the NHL is better than any other pro sport. Just get in post season play and see what happens. How a player can play the entire regular season and then find the energy to step it up in the post season is f'g awesome.

I know a lot of NHL players... They are humble... They love the job... and sacrafice themseleves for their team and will do anything to hoist the cup..!

Flyers were the better team tonight without a doubt , I don't think Halak saw 3 of the 4 against him , but I think Montreal would be happy with a split in Philly anyhow , guess we'll see on Tuesday .

Sharks hawks game was great hockey.
The Habs looked like they did in some of the games against the pens.
Either way, whomever wins the flyers and jabs series better sharpen their skates becAuse both the sharks and hawks are fast and hard hitting.

I think Montreal beat themselves last night. It was by far the most undisciplined game they've played so far in the playoffs. I think whoever goes to the Cup finals from the East is going to get squashed badly.

 

Yea, I highly doubt the Eastern teams are going to get crushed in the finals...the Sharks and Hawks do not have magical powers or anything crazy...they are just another team in the NHL.

 

By the time the Western Conference final game 7 is done , whichever team moves on will have a roster full of injuries and bruises .

 

Are you serious...? you don't think they allready do? These guys aren't pu$$y's like other pro sports. There are guys that already have surgery dates on the calendar for the off season.

Baseball and Basketball players miss games for hangnails and sorethroats...

I think that it will be an intense series regardless. There are a ton of injuries already, and if Salo can play with a busted testicle then it just shows through how much these guys will go to even play in the finals.

 

I wasnt bent at you... I just appreciate what the players go through... Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf are friends of mine and I know what they go thru in the regular season and then to be able to turn it up in the post season is like no other pro-sport. Much like the 2010 Oly Games. All the players found a way to turn it up for their Country.

Uh Oh , Montreal WTF ?

Leighton is playing like Halak did in the last 2 rounds , not looking good for the Habs if they can't score when outshooting the opponents 2-1 .

 

I know your game now , you just pick about ten teams to support at the beginning of the playoffs and you really can't help but have 1 or 2 get to the end .
