Thought I'd share my Katskin install- to start I have a 2017 TRD Sport access cab (I basically use it to haul my bikes to the chair lift for some aggressive downhill and mtn range bike riding) Not a daily driver and I don't really use it all winter (bought June 2017 today has 800 miles on it) but the seats inside always bugged me- very 1970's cloth seats.

If Toyota offered a limited or PRO in an access cab I'd be all over it. (the 4 door is nice- but I have no use the the extra people room) and my normal car is an AMG Benz biturbo 4 matic. (fun ride)

Super easy to do and John Huey at Affordable Leather in AZ is amazing, good communication and super fast shipping.

Looks really good. I'm looking at getting some here soon. How long it take to install?

I took my time. I'd bank on an hour each front seat. the rear jumpers I wasn't sure (and no youtube or google search explains how to do the jumpers) but they are the easiest (like adding a pillow case to a pillow) break the plastic seam open and the old slips right off)

The headrests on the front seats - use a plastic bag to help slide the leather over the fabric (the fabric on the headrests doesn't come off) and then pull the plastic out.

Lastly-- when you order from John be sure to add the extra 15 dollars for the hog tie tool and hog ties. Few years back I did my 4 door wrangler and reused the hog ties and only had needle nose pliers- good god that was painful!

The color is the Katskin recommended 'black' and it's 100% match to all plastics the leather shift/ebrake boot and steering wheel leather. (they do have leather for the dash and door cards- but I really didn't want to make this a huge project..) it's leather seating surfaces- premium is full leather but at the end of the day - it's still a truck. and many car co. only have seating surface leather.

Wow that came out terrific. You're a brave man. I didn't chance it and paid a shop to install it. Like you, I also bought mines from John Huey, albeit for a double cab. Same set, just went with different colors on the stitching.

Looks awesome. That is exactly what I want, minus the stitching on the head rests, esp the back seats. That is great that they make the rears for the AC.

Oh man- I'd have LOVED an install! I sure love writing on paper than doing.. but sadly I'm in the NH white mtns and lucky to have internet. :) on a different note -- my wrangler 4 door when I added Katskins the seat frames on the jeeps are JUNK compared to Toyota. jeep was sharp metal , had to split the seat base from seat back to install.. real PITA- Toyota was really easy and smooth metal edges.

Yes- I know- it's not good for my vehicle. but for many years a rocked 2 vehicles (summer sporty) and jeep or grand cherokee or last 2 x5 diesels. picked up and AMG GLC43 Coupe' suv and due to having some AMG air suspension couldn't add a hitch for bike carrying. and I was tired of spending 1,000 per vehicle since 2002 ish for a hitch and rack. it's wise money just to get a truck for my one need then to ever have to deal with - oh hey can I add a hitch? I smell porsche targa in my summer future! and keeping the TACO!!IMG_0941.jpg

Black leather?! Living in FL, you couldn't pay me to install that junk in my truck. I'm so glad they offer cloth seats. Much cooler and doesn't stick to everything.
Glad you found something you like, though.

Haha... it's not that bad. I also live in Florida and I'm doing just fine with the black leather. Luckily, my Taco is pretty quick in getting the A/C going. Now other vehicles I've owned, the A/C wouldn't start cooling unti I pulled up to park at the end of a drive lol.
