It’s a love/hate for my banger. Love because it rare and not much different than a v6, but hate cause I want to lift mine higher on 4inches instead of 2.5”.

Lol I have a few pics Currently only at 5psi wastegate spring

The manifold and downpipe are direct from the supplier that OzBoost uses. Mild steel, but they get the job done for now. I'll be prepping a stainless manifold with a local builder in the coming year or so, with a T3/T4 flange.

Turbo- Garrett 2871r clone from Supercell Turbos. Dual ceramic ball bearings, and oil/water cooled. Plus the compressor wheel is pretty sexy!

BOV- HKS SSQV which vents to atmosphere since the MAF has been converted to a blow-through setup (MAF is just before throttle body now)

Intercooler- 28x7x2.5 eBay special lol. Since I'm not hunting for 500+hp, these are more than fine. Fit absolutely perfect, just made some L-shaped brackets and cut holes in the core support for the elbows to pass through. The picture is just of the mockup, but you get the idea.
Tuning- Stock ECU/fueling for now. I have an AEM F-IC6 ready, just not hooked up. I'll get to it, this way I can tune closed loop, then up my fuel injectors and BOOST!

Gauges- AEM Wideband & Boost gauges in a Lotek pillar pod. Added the wideband O2 bung just after the primary O2. Drilled a hole, and welded the bung in. Easy squeezy, lemon peezy!


Other than that, if there's anything you'd like to know- feel free to ask! I'm working on a build thread, so once it's done I'll post it here.

 

Holy shit Bro, that's fucking awesome! I want to Turbo mine, but rarely see any through write-ups for the 2tr. It's always "Just trade-in for a V6" I'll definitely be waiting for that build thread. Pm'd.
