It's 940 acres of trails ranging from level 1-Easy to Level 6-Insane. Sounds like rigs with lifts and skids will manage Level 4 well.
Its ~3 hours south of Grandview.

Or Tuttle Creek. Not sure what pricing is there. I'm having trouble finding a definitive website for the ORV portion.

In the future, KS Rocks will have camping amenities as well. But not at this moment.

Just a thought. I really enjoyed my first two offroad trips and have an itch to venture a little more. May hold off till I can outfit the truck a little more.

 

Yeah, MO4WD is going this weekend, and someone made a post in the Midwest forums about it, so I looked into it, and it sounds fun, but being 3+ hours away, wouldn't make sense to just go for a day.

 

FWIW Tuttle is free, with paid camping nearby around the lake.

Kinda, in Salina. Parents are in K.C. tho. Been to Tuttle probably a dozen times in the past 3 years, and KS Rocks maybe 6 times.

 

Also, everyone okay with a BS and Food meet the 27th? Maybe I'll steal my wife's GoPro and take some videos. Weather Pending. We could try hitting Longview again or somewhere else. I'll try to talk to that guy I met last time and see about the Donut shop.

 

I was gonna say the same. Lets keep it a meet this time. Brainstorm on maybe a trip next month, keep everyone involved for those who can't get away to go wheeling. So.......IN.

I've said it before, but I'll try to make it to this next one. It'll be a while before I do any wheeling. Hard to get away to wheel plus the tread on my tires aren't that great.

Turns out trans fluid was low 1/2 qt from the factory. Dealer took care of that and the alignment, which was off as well. Now if only I could get rid of the vibration at 80mph I would be solid.

 

I get some weird vibes at highway speeds as well, but they come and go. I think its just the quality of roads in KC lmao.

 

I tend to wonder. Its definitely in the seat and mostly on asphalt not concrete. First dealer said they road force balanced. I'm going to play around with higher speeds on the way to Colorado next week and see if it goes away or gets worse

 

We are a GO! For the Toyota Club Meet #4. Meeting at Jack's Donuts in Lee's Summit at 10AM Sunday May 27th. Come out and say hi, talk shop, and grab some donuts from Mujtaba Hameed (An avid Tacoma owner and who's father owns the donut shop).
