I bought a whole new hammock camping setup today along with 2 bags to carry the stuff in so no kayak in the near future for me.

Good thing is now everyone in the family has a hammock. Bad thing is they both need rain fly's for theirs and one suspension system.

Extremely, even with me sitting at 225lbs just me.

Kayak way more worth it

 

nice i have been using friends ocean kayak prowler. The bug bit me now, but im just not dropping 900 on one right now.

 

Well I only needed a rainfly and a bug net but they made it more than worth it.

 

I was sitting in garage while dog was peeing!

 

Going on that kayak camping trip in june with neighbors. Going to have to make sure I got some dry bags for my gear. Was thinking about sleeping in hammock due to it being easy to pack. Don’t want to have to buy a new tent. My tent sleeps the family then some. Way to big to carry!

 

Mine was 400 and the only plans I have for it is a fish finder and a gel seat. Idk what more you could want unless you absolutely had to stand up on it. Then you’d want a wide sit on top yak

The first one I had was a great deal(would honestly still have it if I hadn't left it outside and someone decided they needed it more than I did). I got it from Dunhams in Fort Payne. It was $219. Not the best, but it let me know how much I enjoyed kayaking and wasn't a huge financial risk. I upgraded to a Liquid Logic Remix XP9 this year.

I've got a 20L drybag that I have never used. You're welcome to try it if you want. I use my 10L more than anything. This one was a spur of the moment buy It works great as a makeshift seat

I think I was under $350 before I bought the Liquid Logic. I definitely got my money's worth out of it. I did the Chattahoochee, Tallapoosa, and Hiawassee(filled up a few times on that one) in it. I never fished out of mine, so I bought a hybrid creek/white water one this time around.

 

I'll throw it in the truck in the am when I get home that way I won't forget it
