    haha thanks!

I do feel uneasy, but also think that it is their business, I shouldn't be. But would still feel better if i was with other people getting the same treatment lol

Drew out my little diagram for my updated drawers. Going to make it out of 1" square tubing, 14 gauge wall. I'll gusset each leg for added support, and the weight of the frame itself will be about 32 lbs. I'll reuse my 1/2" plywood on top, leaving the back compartment how it is now, but bigger. I was able to fit so much camping gear in there last time that I don't want to lose it.

I'll have that portion open on gas struts, similar to redline hood struts (but cheaper). I'll also remake my drawer out of all 1/2" plywood, instead of 2"x12" to again, save some weight and make sliding the drawer easier. All in all it'll cost less than $100 in supplies, and be a really fun project.

What is the weight of your tubing? I want to get some too. The aluminum is nice, but a welding project would be better

Does the place near you sell that? Or would you buy online?

What about the top material? Sides? I want to do the same thing

I was just using that as a weight reference. I'm sure the local place would sell that. Maybe not that exact wall thickness, but they'd have to have 1" square tubing. I wouldn't mind going up to 1/8" wall. It'd just add 10 lbs in weight.

Top would be 1/2" plywood. The only sides I'd do are the ones in orange. That'd hold my gear in the forward most compartment and keep it from sliding forwards.
