Same here. Eyes started to water reading those posts. I have a soon to be 2 year old and I too wake up in the middle of the night literally every night to check the monitor.

I understand being frustrated with cyclists but my dad is a cyclists and sometimes he doesn’t ride in the bike lanes because cars throw debris over there and he has pop a tire and been throw over his handle bars from crap like that. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense when you’re behind them but they could share the same reason.

This is a little different. They have a dedicated bike path, that's completely separate from the road by about 15' but parallels it. People ride on it all the time, but some people still refuse to, and ride on the road. It's so annoying.

 

Can’t imagine that feeling, but I have a friend whose oldest sister and one of her four children died in a car accident yesterday, and her two year old was pronounced brain dead today and they have to decide what to do... he called me to talk because he was having a hard time dealing with it as he father had to tell the other two kids about their mom and sisters today.

Hearing his voice on the phone I’m sure is barely even a glimpse of that feeling and I would never wish it on anyone. Hope that these years later you can remover the good even in missing her.

Worst is when youll be walking to get whatever you actually came for and you turn around and wife is nowhere to be seen and you have to backtrack to see what non-necessity crap caught her eye.

 

After getting an oil change this AM at the stealership, they suggested getting new pads, rotors, and pins for $330. Nah... Gunna be a fun weekend!

 

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy shit man. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. WOW. At this rate I'm not gonna be able to get any sleep tonight. I think I'm gonna be up all night staring at the monitor, making sure my kids are OK and don't leave my sight. This is awful man. Just plain awful. Tell your friend to hang in there and stay strong for his kids. Thinking of him and wishing him and the rest of the family all the best. WOW.
