MOLLE Center Console panel for CCW ETC

1/2". You have to put the board so its close to the rug cause the rug prevents it from dropping out.

 

I think I have a bag of those spacers in black but need to make sure they are same height/diameter as what hardware the panel comes with.

Did this today for a renegade after i caught up o the taco orders. Thought it came out pretty good .

 

Got the storage bin panel yesterday. Will involve removing the storage bin to get hardware/spacers situated. Will be using bolt/washer/panel/washer/riser/washer on outside with washer/locknut on backside. Not sure if that'll happen this wknd....but it is supposed to be rainy so installing it may be the thing to do. Either way will post up pics when done..............

 

You dont have to get to the back of the panel. Use a 1//8" bit to drill into the plastic then force the screw in, it will tap itself in and make a nice tight connection as long as you dont overtighten it and pull the threads.

 

Yeah but I don't trust plastic like that. I'm gonna secure it all sturdylike.....not that 50 lbs of stuff will be hangin off of it. Also have some black spacers instead of white. Thinkin about one of those $10 pouches like at bottom of the thread page in products discussed, pushed over to one side where it would be accessible between buckets.....first, the install, lol.

 

I designed those holes so you can mount gear sideways so play with it.

 

Before i drill these holes, I’m thinking the skinnier one with the CB notch goes on the passenger side? 2nd Gen BTW

 

Its interchangeable.

 

Installed the DC storage bin panel this wknd.........fetched a handful of hardware and went to town on it................Drilled holes out on panel to use 1/4 /20 x 2" bolts/washers/nuts.
Storage panel between fender washers and molle panel between the rubberized washers. Used acorn nuts on posts. Had to mount the bolts from back of panel due to proximity to rear cab wall - no room for much behind the panel. Panel still in indention of storage bin but has room to get hand behind panel on top and bottom to fasten things to it. Might find black acorn nuts later but happy with how it turned out. Can fit a backpack on one side and it still fit behind seat without interfering with seat being all the way back. Lots of options and some dead space now has function.

 

How do I get one of these? This is great!

I had them from some TV wall mount or something like that - just stray hardware thrown in a tub.

I slid mine over a piece of wire and spray painted them black. Seems to work fine. Hope this helps.
