Just curious if any of you guys had any recommendations on all weather floormats. I already took a look at weather tech as i had them in my Tundra. They are nice bit are there any other brands out there that might work for my Taco?

I've had OEM (which suck), Weathertechs, which were kind of thin and moved a bit much for my liking, they also weren't very flexible which lead to fitment issues in some areas.

    I've seen the KSG's I think they're called? Wasn't impressed.

And finally what I have now and would recommend, the Husky X-Act fit, they're thick, flexible even in cold weather unlike the WT's, fit best of all I have seen and tired, and they have little rubber spikes on the bottom that really sink into the carpet and keep the mat put.

I don't even have the floor mat keepers i stalled and they don't move.

Plus the containment ridges are nice and deep and the general coverage is excellent.

Yeah the OEMs are the reason why im shopping for new ones. They are terrible. I will check those out, thanks.

Same here, OEM fronts, at least on PAX side, move a ton. I looked at the Husky, images shows hold downs on pax side is that applicable for the Taco?

    thanks for the info.

Can't speak for the 3rd gen as I have mine in my 2nd gen but I would imagine it to be the same.

As far as the second gen goes yes both passenger and driver mats are designed to be able to use hold downs.

I wish Husky made those for MT Tacos. I'm happy with my Husky WeatherBeaters, but those look even better.

I have Huskys in my 2010 MT.

Get the AT ones and try them?

It's not like the floor pan is any different.

It's probably them just CYA because it's possible for the clutch to hit the edge of the mat and flip it up and they don't want a lawsuit from some idjit on their hands. If you have an issue with the mat just trim it around the clutch pedal.

Husky's have faux hold-downs on the passenger side for '16-'17 Taco's, which screw into the carpet.

I have Husky WeatherBeaters in my '17 MT Taco. Husky doesn't make the softer X-act Contour model for '16+ MT Tacos.

Have always run weathertech mats in my vehicles and thought they were ok. With the tacome I got in on a group buy here for the husky x-act andreally like them. They are better looking and I like the more flexible material they are made from.

I ordered both WeatherTech and Husky X-Act to compare. While WeatherTech is a high quality product, the Husky seemed to be built just as good, with superior coverage. The WeatherTech did not cover as much of the drivers left side foot pad, and part of my foot was still on the carpet. The Husky fully covered this.

    I recommend the Husky.

Save yourself some energy and just get the Husky X-act Contour.
I've had the Weatertechs and they don't compare.

Weathertech is solid but like others said the husky mats are a little better for Tacoma's

My Weathertech mats can get slick in the right conditions. Not like a slip and slid but i might slip and kick the pedals if I'm jumping into the truck quick. Not a real issue or a reason to replace them just my experience for your decision making.

They don't fit, you end up with a large gap near the transmission tunnel on the Drivers Side, the floor pan must be different between auto and manual.
