Pretty much exactly what I did (Napa calipers, Toyota pad/shims/rotors, Wheelers ss brake lines)...just didn't have time to document my installation.

You can thank @turbodb for this:

Napa. Order online and they will have them at your local store or deliver them to that store for pick-up.

Gonna need them today, I've got a final tomorrow :annoyed: gonna see what they've got.
Do I need the stainless lines or will stock lines and banjo work fine?

You need the Wheelers lines. The stock banjo won't fit the Tundra caliper. You could grind the small tab off of the banjo fitting and it'd be closer, but the bolts don't fit quite right either (and the Wheelers ones do).

My guess is that the blue wires are the these NGK (4412) ones (the photo says NGK, so I can't imagine they are something else). I'm thinking about wires too, but unsure if I'm wanting to go with the OEM ones instead (for 2x $).

Previous owner covered up a rust bomb of a repair on the rear left door. After waiting over a year to see a replacement door pop up at a local junk yard in that color one did. But work was too busy (I work 80-100 hour weeks often, no pay for overtime). So today I was too sick to go to work (honest, a cold my son gave me, in May?) so I went to the junk yard. The door sold yesterday. Bummer. So did the topper. RATS.

So.... which one of you was it? hahahaha.

Does the banjo bolt tighten all the way down? and seal the brakeline to the caliper? Don't force it if it doesn't want to go on all the way. Use new copper washers.

yes went all the way down and felt like a normal bolt, I could hand tighten it all the way, also used new copper.

I never looked into this further since I went with Wheelers brake lines but I ran across this thread when I was doing my research years ago. I linked each of the posts that discuss the reason behind having to drill the banjo bolt:

Just curious, what nub did you grind off?

I’ve been putting so many miles on for work lately, that I’ve neglected some maintenance on the Tacoma. Plus we just had a baby, so I needed something I could put a rear facing car seat in. So far averaging almost 40mpg with the TDI. It’s a blast to drive.

Thanks for the info! I cut a small nub off so we could get it on there, wasn't a big deal, seems like it just held the line in a specific orientation. I drilled out the bolt to 3/32 on the bottom and 1/8 on the side. Looking at what scs did I should've made it bigger I guess, but they seem to have worked fine. My pedal does feel slightly softer than stock but it stops really nicely. I think the stainless lines might help with that.
