The vendor asked him if he didn't get the instructions. OP has no clue if they were sent or not because he dealt with a 3rd party that could have not have forwarded them to him in the end. OP doesn't know if they were included or not. Every item I've ever seen that has to be aligned in a certain orientation includes shims or a nut for proper alignment. There shouldn't have been any reason to over tighten this to align it.

 

Given everyone says schooling is so expensive in the US even worse than here in Canada I'm going to assume any college kid driving a new car or even any car at times is mommy and daddys money. Because really if you're a full time student how much can you really work to pay for shit when you're already paying for schooling and possibly housing?
After seeing how much it was for friends and ex girlfriends, siblings or my current girlfriend in college/university I don't see how a college kid can afford a 35k+ truck on their own.

I was lucky I got paid for school when I was an apprentice so it wasn't as hard for me to pay for a car as well.
