2018 Tacoma TRD Pro ac fan

    Soooo. Took the Taco back to the dealer and had a chance to speak to a master mechanic. The fan cycling is normal operation. It has something to do with the new refrigerant for 3rd gen Tacos (not 134a) which makes the cooling system high efficient. Also did not realize that if the knob is set to max ac, the system will reuse the air in the cab instead of outside air to cool the cab down faster causing the compressor to cycle a lot more. Thanks to everyone who responded to the thread.
