I didn't get them powder coated because I was going to paint them red. So Joe primed them black for pictures.

Black looked good so I let my wife and daughter talk me in to black.

Not sure if you already knew this, but I'd highly recommend a bench mounted vise, snap ring pliers, and a brass punch. It'll make your life a whole lot easier.

Does the packet of grease have a measurement on it?

Yes please...if you don't mind that is. I received my clamps today as no one around me locally had them and I had to order them. So I am going to finish fixing my shafts tomorrow. I just want to make sure the grease packs I have is enough.

    Give me a few minutes.
Yes. Had them since fall. Actually @EatSleepTacos might have chipped one or both. We are not sure :anonymous:

@JWROSE4 there are no indications of how much grease. Just the weight.

There’s two types of grease, but 4 total packets. One type of grease goes inner boot and the other type goes outer.

So I ordered these clamps go finally get all my cv boot shit fixed properly. I was done clamping the driver side and working on the passenger side when out of the 4 kits I got 3 of the clamps just broke and fell off. While I was working on the others. So FUCK those bastards! No one around this God forsaken place has any clamps and I had to go to Lowes and get hose clamps. So Im not happy! Now to decide if Im gonna leave these or try to find the right ones.[/QUOTE]
