I am aware of that but I will be using my stock wheels for new England winters and having the tpms sensors will be nice year round

    Stellar endorsement.

He's definitely going to get my bidness........once I finally determine what I want to do.

I'm likely going to work in my college mascot.....The Pirates. Will be going with either a dark matte gray or matte black that will be subtle on my black Taco. Skulls, swords, Jolly Roger, ENC state image that we have at mid-field, busty wench......all are possibilities.

Really nice looking mounts.....appears to be positioned so as to allow zero interference with your shell door & tailgate.

I am hoping @CaliRaisedLed will work up a wiring harness for these rear pod applications.

Glad everyone is Ok. I always wondered how easy it would be to keep the wheels/tires if something like this happened to my truck. Was it a PITA to have the insurance company swap them over to your new Taco or did they replace them?

Thank You! I did not. I had @paranoid56 laser cut them for me. He did an amazing job and they look even better in person.

Yea I was worried about that. But all I did with the pod was scooch it all the way to the left on the bracket to clear the shell door. And the Firestik will clear with no issue.

They do make a wire harness for the pods, I just mistakenly assumed it was included with the pod order since everything I've ever ordered from them before (bumper bar and ditch lights) included the wire harness.

I ordered a harness yesterday hopefully it'll be here by the weekend.

    Sweet.

My 32" light bar and side-shooter ditches came with the harnesses, too. Gonna hopefully get them installed this week.

I wasn't sure about the rear/bed lights. Didn't know how long that harness was. I planned on tackling the bed lighting prior to the Fall hunting season....and was really intrigued when I saw them come out with those mounts you used. Super useful lighting solutions made by these hombres.

Wow that's disappointing. I was thinking about picking one of those up too.

The insurance company allowed me to remove my old wheels, but one was damaged beyond repair so I gave the other 3 to my buddy and bought new ones. Upgraded the tires from Toyo to KO2’s. Me likey.......

I wonder if that’s common practice from insurance companies once the vehicle is totaled? Anyone want to chime in? Would be nice to be able to keep all the aftermarket mods we do to our trucks if they are salvageable.

TRD grill emblem, O.C.D. center console tray, matte black Tacoma tailgate insert, Rigid Ignites flush mounted inside white bumper caps, vinyl blacked out dash chrome, red meso ultimate map and dome lights, ultimate turn signals, gasshole, and FH group seat covers.($53) King Coilovers, JBA UCA’s, Front driver CV bushing. BAMF shock relocation kit w/ 12” x 2.5” adj. kings. Deaver U402 leaf pack, w/u-bolt flip kit. OME driveshaft support bearing spacer. Aluminum oil filter housing w/fumoto valve. Braided Stainless Steel extended brake lines front and rear.
Took my truck to Toyota for the 10k service, and like I assumed would happen they tried to say there wasn’t a way for them to change the filter without pulling my bamf skids, so I argued with the point “I think I could do it, give me the oil and filter.” So the tech wanted me to look, so he could show me how it wasn’t possible, and I showed him how it was possible. Then he proceeded to remove the filter housing. Boom getting my prepaid maintenance after all.

Haha yeah that’s the first thing they said too. Didn’t find anything in there but it did look like the blower wheel was chewed

My 2nd gen has that same noise a few times and they said it was from pine straw from my office park. The blades were so thin and cheap until the pine straw cracked them when I turned the air on. The pine straw was getting in through the squirrel cage. I think it was the third time when they got an upgraded fan locally and I never had the issue again. When they cleaned out the AC system there was only a small amount of pine straw but the tech said he saw this a lot.

Toyota really doesn't want anyone taking off any of their over abundant branding...this was certainly a pain in the ass.
    IMG_0769.jpg IMG_0770.jpg
That part was easy but a single strip of adhesive around the edge would've sufficed.IMG_0772.jpg IMG_0773.jpg IMG_0775.jpg
Sad taco. Don't worry, I'll clean you up.
    IMG_0785.jpg IMG_0788.jpg
My fingers are still tender but these badges were a little too much for me. I'm thinking of maybe doing some simple black pro badges by where the rear window dips up kind of like the 4runners have but for now I like this better than before.
