I was literally just looking at that area on google earth. Thinking of heading out there this weekend. Were there any road closures that you ran into? Doesn't look like there is any snow on the ground there, was it just as dry in the shady/north facing areas?

Noticed the tear drop for sale in the other thread. The price kinda struck me. Knowing nothing about them... looked them up.

BOSS to say the least. But $21,500 worth? Holy smokes! And there are extra-cost upgrades you would think should come with it for that price tag. *cough*Harley Davidson*cough*

Can you show some pictures of the spare in the bed of the truck and how you have it mounted? I didn't see a build link or anything in your sig.

Anyone have any good tips for getting rid of dandelions and keeping them out of your lawn? I know the best defense is having a nice thick lawn which I am working on, but I’m wondering if there is anything else I can do? I have tried broad leaf weed killer, but I feel like the dandelion growth cycle is so fast they make it to seed before the weed killer gets a chance to work. There are much much worse lawns in the neighborhood, but I’m trying not to be “that guy” of my immediate neighbors.

Shits ridiculous this year. Curious to hear what others recommend too. We've been somewhat fortunate so far, the wife has been going out and pulling what pops up every evening lately but still have quite a few.

Sorry man, but I think the best option is to go out there and snip off all the flowers, either by hand or mower before they go to seed, and then weed and feed application. Weeding, it’s a pain but also kind of has a cathartic penance quality to it. Wax on, wax off Mr. Miyagi... kids help of you have them.

My two year old “helps” by picking the ones with seeds and blowing them all over the place smh. There’s not enough hours in the day to weed all of mine so I guess I’ll just have to focus on thickening the turf.

Yeah, I feel ya. It’s a pain in the ass. It can be hard to do a really great turf if you have dogs also.

I’ve done a granular, all-over weed and feed about a month ago and have done spot treatment with liquid concentrated weed killer with a hand sprayer. No love :(
