Nice, get your wallet out, this is definitely the place to hook up some mods! :spending:

And I'm sure you can run into some locals from the forum to take care of that off-road itch! :mudding:

I do too. It wasn't my plan, but after I took off the main trim to paint, I saw the chrome and it had to go. It's odd, the chrome around the vents isn't that noticeable inside the cab. I broke off the tabs and the melted posts that are seen at the tips of my fingers (pic below) and then just hot glued them at the same location once painted. If the hot glue doesn't hold, I'll superglue, but I wanted to give it a chance.

Now I just need to take apart my dash to get to the passenger side vent. Luckily, I've done that before and it's not too hard.

Since you bought a Tacoma, that effect will last longer due to the Tacoma's residual value. Just be sure to call the doc if it lasts more than 4 hours... :D

and GOOD GOD, what did the man in your avitar eat??? Hope he doesn't mistake your Taco as something edible, he might be able to fit it! lol

Usually super glue doesn't work so well with the chrome plastic, try "Loctite all plastics bonding system". warning it comes with very little bonder in tube, and tubes dry out once open.

New in February. Debadging, a little paint under the hood, some Clazzios. Maybe some Enkei RPT1's in titanium gold when the factory 17" tires wear out

Nice red letters on the tailgate and love the look of the clazzios. I'm getting them after my factory seats take some abuse.

Thanks, RobP62, and Toddulu and ToyoDrew too!

Tailgate decal from Haru Creative. Shifts from red, purple and gold.

    https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...=tacoma+holographic,aps,338&crid=1O8B7DUUVLX8

Viewed from straight on the red is practically indistinguishable from the factory paint.
Pulled the seats for the Clazzio install this weekend, saved both time & a sore back.
