My guess is low - mid 500 lbs. (520-540 lbs) OME's are 590 lb rate and much stiffer than stock, I am not too sure what the stock rate is number wise, but that is my guess.

Any tips for removing springs from adjustable coilovers when one does not have a spanner wrench to fit? Or a bar to put in the hole.

And the Auto Zone spring compressor doesn't fit.

    Be very careful?

Edit: I know 4wp will break them down for like $40 a pair.

Seriously considering this. My 700’s are a bit firm even with the steel bumper. For now, free bump.

Unless you have access to a wall or floor mounted spring compressor my advice is do not try it. As @hoverlover said any auto shop will break them down for you. My local shop charged me $80 to take out the old and replace the new.

I’m not going to pretend I haven’t compressed and decompressed springs with a jack. I just made sure to minimize as much risk as I was able to and accepted what risk remained. Not the stupidest thing I’ve ever done... I am married

If you find the smartest method for doing something stupid do they cancel each other out to just doing something normal?

I think 600’s will be a bit too soft once I add the winch, but good luck with the sale!

Exactly! Find the smartest way :) It always seems crazy until it works.

With that said, a ratchet strap hasn't worked yet. And the beer I was using to lubricate my brain, I feel is about to start lubricating my hands, so enough with that experiment for the night.

I'm going to pass on this good deal. I am almost certain that I have 13" springs in the setup, and I do not want to go too Frankenstein with it. GLWS
