The question is did they have to do all those mods just to get it to run?
Have you looked at the Bersa Thunder .380? My wife has one. Shoots great. It's very reliable, and isn't picky about ammo. She loves to shoot it, and has put over 3000 rounds through it. They usually retail for under $300

Wow. Sorry to hear that. They have a pretty good track record, but I guess there can be a turd in any bunch. Can't blame you for staying away after that experience.

Can't say as I blame you. I've had nothing but good luck with mine, but if it blew up in my hand I sure as hell wouldn't buy another one

Is see that Classic Firearms has PPS-43's right now. Would be cool to have one and SBR it, so the stock folds like it should.

Just took this home the other day. This is a gun I've been wanting for a long time. I'm not in love with the rail yet but I think I will grow to like it. Springfield Armory TRP Operator. Sooo Nice.

I was out with my son in law. When his buddy let me shoot his TRP Operator.
Instantly hooked. Took forever to find one.
But so glad I did. Also bought the Springfield mil spec 1911 same day......

I am NOT addicted to guns, I can quit anytime I want to!...

    Nice, but a rail on a 1911 just seems....wrong.

Anybody here run a reflex sight on a pistol? How much of a difference does that make over irons?

Very nice pair. I honestly think Springfield makes some of the nicest production 1911s out there. I much prefer them over Kimber. But a Wilson is on my bucket list of gun to buy. They are in a different league

I have never personally used one but based on the data and my experience with traditional red dots on the AR platform and shotguns I believe red dots will become a common thing to see at least in the LEO community, we already see the growth in the civilian shooting community.

I've used a Burris fastfire ii on my fnp 45. I got back and forth on using it. I'm sure ita nice in high stress situations. But for regular target shooting I shoot about the same

I actually just sent my slide in today to be milled for a Vortex Viper and cowitness irons. I've only shot one pistol with a red dot but I liked it. It takes a little time to adjust to but it can be faster with enough practice .
