What? You assume I am an animal killer because I own top of the line hunting packs?

    Yep. You are right.

Mainly just Nevada. Although I hunt Nebraska, Utah, Arizona, and Idaho sometimes when an OTC tag catches my eye and time allows. I've also hunted Canada and Alaska each once.

My wife and I both had Desert tags last year. And I'm hoping for my third Nevada bull tag this year.

I am hoping for my second NV bull tag. Unsuccessful on my first go round, but that was with a bow. First and last time I'll do that. I am not near patient or sneaky enough for that crap. I have been lucky enough the last 4 years to have someone close to me with a bull tag. All successful, my dads being the largest at 368, then a good buddy at 365, then my wife's uncle at 345, then my wife's dad at 335. I would honestly be happy with a cow tag, just so I have a reason to be in the elk in the end of September. I am completely 100% addicted to elk.

We've had 4 bull tags all ready in the family. Here is my wife's bull from 2016. 46 pound recurve bow. 375 with a broken third.

Those are both great bulls. I definitely respect being able to take one with a bow. I love the character on your wife's bull.

My dad's. Only 37" wide and still went 368.

I'm getting all fired up. But I wont draw squat. When we took our little venture to Idaho for 2 years, I lost all my points, for everything... :pout:Started over last year.

I want a desert ram pretty badly. How did you and your wife do on your desert tags?

We mainly shoot does or cows. Mainly just want the meat and the tags are way cheaper. Already have 3 mounts on the wall.

Hunted birds my whole life here in nv. Dad just never got into big game. After college I have Applied for everything I could last couple years aside from bear and goat, Drew a depredation cow for 144 145 last year and was succesful...I was reading the statistics and I think it says only 4 out of 50 were succesful... must have gotten really lucky because I didn't know what I was doing.

I'm definitely hooked. Can't wait for the results this year

This is the night before spotting the cow from this exact spot

I heard that was a pretty bum tag to have. Congrats on getting something. We deer hunted in 14 last year and didn't see any sign of elk. We weren't hunting any timbered up areas though.

Now we are talking! I’m in a waiting period for elk.
Mule deer is my passion though

Them are some good lookin animals! The more I hunt for big mule deer, the more they frustrate the shit out of me. We had about a 180 buck give us the slip this last year. We had everything perfect, he just disappeared.
