The reason 87 is cheaper than 91 because there is less water within the fuel. I believe that 91 is better for the engine. And i either use Leaded 110 race fuel or 91 0ctane if i cant get to the race station for my race car. People can say 87 and 91 are the same, but eryone has different thoughts about everything.

True, but I don't think that higher octane fuel gives any benefit to an engine that can't make use of the increased available compression.

Im not going to disagree or argue or anything lol I know your just putting in your two cents and i understand. Just what i believe and i know for a fact that 91 helps more for antiknocking within the engine compared to 87.

That's cool. As long as you know what the realationship is between compression, temperature, octane, and detonation are and what causes knocking (premature detonation), then you're perfectly capable of judging for yourself what kind of gas should go in your engine ;)

Travis, how did your CB work out, did you get to test the range with Jason? What antenna did you use? and did you get it tuned? I'm looking in to them.
    Thanks Bruce
