OK a change to where we are staying Friday night had to be made. I was not able to reserve the group area at Underhill State Park like I wanted to. At the time I first called they weren't taking the reservations yet and when they were I went to book it but they had already booked the group area. My wife being the awesome person that she is, is always so optimistic and said it is probably for the best and we will probably find something better and you know what she was right!
So now we are staying at a place called Brewster River Campground. It's a small very clean place that is right on a river for those that may want to fish. It also has regular bathrooms, free hot showers as well as a sink for cleaning up our dishes. BTW it's closer than Underhill is to where we end the 1st day and it's also in a better location for us to leave for our travels the next day. The owner "Tim" was awesome and has us in a big field with a central fire pit. Here's the best part, it's only $5 per person!

    :yay:

Funny thing was when I was booking I told him that we were with with Tacoma World and his exact statement was "Do you mean like Toyota Tacoma World?". Come to find out the guy is a Tacoma owner and although he is not a member he lurks on TW on a regular basis to find out stuff about his truck! Lol

Sounds awesome! What's the policy for firewood etc - I'm guessing we have to buy in state or something?

My children asked what's considered a kid, then they both said how much they like ice cream. I also enjoy ice cream, but my body not so much.

Yes, no firewood from out of state.

I read a review saying they are very reasonable on the price of the firewood there and they even do it as an honor system so you can grab more and just leave the money for it even if the office is closed.

He also told me that he'll probably have the office open until about 10 that night so if we need anything he'll be around for most of the night. Sure nice guy!

Just to be sure, we are like 100% booked for the first night, right? Rob I can pay you via PayPal for the 2 of us if you’d like. Not sure if you have to pre pay or if we’re paying upon arrival.

    100% booked!

Also I'm glad you broght the part of the money up. Because I was not exactly sure on the number of people that will be going the owner is going to be taking payment the day of. Just so that everyone knows he does not have a CC system on site so please bring $5 cash per person for the amount of people that is saying with you for the night and also for any firewood that you might want to buy

Thank you for the clarification rob.

Everyone should remember that it is illegal to bring local firewood over state lines. If you want to bring your own it must be packaged heat treated firewood with a USDA APHIS heat treatment seal...

Or be cheap like me and cut up some pallets

Thanks guys, I'm trying! I wish I could give more details on the camping for Sat night but the plans are still not set (permit has been applied for) and I don't want to get everyone's hopes up. As soon as I hear anything about it I will be posting up the information on here

Oh the other one will be good too. I have the waterfalls planned, I just don't have the end of day/camping finalized and I just don't want to post any wrong information if it can be avoided
