    getting there....
well...hopefully, you'll get your $$$ back, then you should go to another shop somewhere and get it redone to actually match. you can even go as far as to put an ad in the local paper about how shady that place is.

Well I posted a comment on his Google Maps ad... Hopefully it will make people aware of this chop shop...

Also has anybody heard of this before??? As they were puting the tint on they were filing the top of my window with a metal file to get the tint to be flush?

Ummm NO! The proper way is to cut the film to contour to the window not file the window to match the film!

Dark they are! Good work right? Just too dark? Obviously they could be in trouble for doing it. However, don't make any threats until they fix it. LOL. If they don't, call your credit card, but wait for the adjustment before taking it off yourself or having someone else do it for you. I work right off of Miramar Rd so every time I drive by I can HONK! Sorry about the experience bud.

Yea they said it was 20% lol... I had 3 cars with tint before 5%, 10%, and 20% I also think once 35% and this looks between the 5-10 % range.

Considering the fronts usually look a little lighter because of the light from the windshield - that is really dark.

I know in the OC you would be begging to be pulled over with that.

I know you're down in SD, but if you make it up to the OC, Campbell Tint in Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach did my G and they did a great job. They had a printer/diecutter that cut the sheets of tint to the window's specs.

Go to a police station and ask them to put the gauge on your window and find out how dark it is, first explain to them what you wanted and show them that this is what you got and you would like to know how dark it is. That should fix it.
