Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
We should start giving mods a "Degree of Difficulty" rating expressed in glasses of beer, ranging from 1 glass (pfffft, simple) to 6 glasses (not for wusses).

Yeah, QS color waaay better since I keep it outside, dust/pollen, dirt, etc doesn’t show like it did on the MGM.
I drove it for about 2 weeks until I got the official it’s totaled thing, I quit driving it since they took it off my insurance....no insurance, no driving.

Pry at the upper left of the trim that is holding all 6 buttons. I used two pry tools (plastic) to work my way around.

And yeah I can understand that. Poor truck. :pout: Maybe it will be sold to someone instead of being crushed.

I have used 2 different kinds of LED bulb/headlights, supposeably 30w and 4500Lm per bulb. I would say they were very slightly brighter than stock and the throw about the same.
Just installed the Hikaris, much brighter and definetly way more throw.
    The specs from your bulbs:
    3,000 Lumen Per Bulb

    Hikari’s:
    6,000 Lumen per bulb
    And cheaper too.

I'm literally in the same boat as you right now and want the exact same setup. What did you end up doing?

I recently got the Hikari's as well (the newer ones like @SurfratTX linked and not the Cree version). I can definitely attest to the brightness and throw. Easy to install and good cut off line. My passenger side is a little high to the far right, but I still need to adjust.

Just pops out with a screw driver or panel prying tools and then 4 screws and your there

I had rubbing on both inner fender and cab mount, both had to be cut pretty good.

It has the 2.5" w/reservoir up front, and 2.0 with reservoir in the rear. The ride is pretty good, still rides a little stiff but I also have 10 ply tires on as well so that definitely doesn't help. 90% of my driving is highway (about 100 miles a day), but I will say offroad they were fantastic. I have been very pleased so far.

I paid $2300 for lift, nothing on labor. I work at an automotive shop so I buy wheel/tires, and all the accessories at cost.

I talked with the salvage company in person. They told me that just about any vehicle 2012 and above they cleaned up as much as possible to sell at a higher rate. They sold my truck. It was in pristine condition at least the way I kept it.

After reading a few Hikari experiences on TW, I did check to make sure mine were aligned right, after installing. Mine were perfectly aligned after the install, didn’t have to do anything to them.
