I suppose my comment was a bit hypocritical considering I do intend to buy the PRO fog lights and maybe the grille some day. The badge is defiantly a no, no but to each his own and do as you please with what you own. But we will be harsh and we will call them prosers... lol

Lol no big deal. I have a Pro grill, fog lights and tail lights. But like you, the badge is absolutely a no-no. I have a Sport and I'm not ashamed of that. In fact it's the opposite, I try to rep it in the ways that I can. For example, last summer I bought a set of Katzkin leather from TW member John Huey. He was selling some pro replicas, but I made sure the headrests said TRD Sport on them.

I gotta say, if I didn’t actually own a pro, I’d consider rocking the “trd bro”
...makes me smile every time I see it. It just appeals to my sense of humor.
On the subject of pro badging on a non pro...I do agree with @ZYBORG and @MaddMAX, but as someone who bought a pro, I’m not butthurt by people misrepresenting. I figure he’s only fooling people who don’t know a Tundra from a Tacoma, anyway.

Haha... in their defense the mid-sized segment of trucks is getting bigger. It's no wonder they would make such a mistake.

Agreed. To me, its like putting a 4x4 badge on a 2WD.

Yeah, that's one of the weirder things I've seen. At least with the aesthetics of the Pro Badge, I can see why someone would like it. It's part of the reason McWillia has found a customer base with the faux badges. But to use a 4x4 decal on a Prerunner... sheesh... that's ultimate poser status right there.

Toyota could have restricted the sale of Pro parts only as replacement parts for Pros by default simply by making all parts unique and incompatible...ala Ford Raptor. Imagine a Pro w larger flared fenders, different suspension, different engine, etc. Maybe the Gen4 will be that truck in 2026+

Yeah. That would have been awesome.

Did you black out the headlights yourself?
