Looks good man. How'd you black out your emblems? I'm trying to find OEM ones, but it doesn't look like it's possible...

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Those Diamondbacks sure are nice covers. Wish I didn't already have a tonneau so I could almost justify the cost.

What did you use for bed lights?

    Need some opinions...

Here are the wheels I'll be using on my Barcelona Red access cab (they go to the powder-coater on Friday):

...and here is the finish I'm considering (Bronze Chrome):

Imagine some nice, chrome lug nuts for contrast.

What do y'all think? Too much?

Photographing metallic colors must be a challenge. I can look at a half-dozen pics of what's supposed to be the same color and they all look different to me.

    Maybe something a little "flatter":

Thanks. I Plasti-Dip’d my emblems. There’s a lot of YouTube videos on how to do them. Super easy! Did them the second day I had my truck. It’s been almost two months and they’ve held up well.

You could always plastidip and see if you like it or not.

I'm horrible at colors. Picking paint colors for around the house is excruciating. Sometimes I want to hire a color consultant. I have determined that this is one of those things that wives are for.

When I finally decided on bronze, I was thinking "Okay, now I'll go over to Prismatic Powders where I'll have to choose from 6 or 8." Pffft. They've got like a hundred.

Huh. Whaddya' know. You really can get a bronze color from plastidip (using the copper metalizer). That's a good idea. Thanks!

When it comes to colors for the house I leave that to my wife, otherwise everything would be camo including the upholstery on the furniture!:thumbsup:
As for the wheels, personally I like those. The satin finish looks good. I'd want the wheels to compliment the whole truck. I wouldn't want the wheels to be the whole focal point. Just my opinion. Opinions are OK but everyone's got one. Just go with what pleases you and the heck with what someone else thinks would look best. That's the best advice I can offer! You'll make the right choice because it'll be your choice.

How cool are these lights or are they warmer than other 6k LEDs?
    I'm seriously considering them.

You can get blackout overlays instead, here is a link from eBay for the actual emblems. They ain't cheap for a piece of plastic but I like the look on mine. I got the overlays instead. Try searching on different website you may get them cheaper.

Thanks. I'd buy the overlays if I could just get the two sides. I'm not going to pay $100 and toss most of it in the trash. $50 I could stomach. The only other black emblems are from the 2nd gen. I might just plastidip them until an oem 3rd gen comes out. I got my wheels on this week and the chrome looks hideous now.

While most people are taking these off, I installed the OEM mud guards. Thanks @Tacoma_Runner1129 0AB7AFB4-1DB6-41D2-88C7-D94C50ED85BD.jpg

My '92 was totaled, at the time it had 209,000 on the odometer. I got rear ended. The crash didn't even break glass but bent the tailgate and bed up. They said it was a total loss and gave me $5,300 for it and I bought it back for $200. I gave it to my brother and used it as a daily driver until he sold it with 250,000 miles on it.

Thanks for the info! Do you know if they will work for a 2018? Also, are they plastic or metal running boards?
