You should get a bigger board than that. You’ll catch waves SO much easier and have WAY more fun. That’s a sizable wave board for a smaller guy. I don’t see you in either category

 

Decent board, especially at that price. I generally recommend something 7-8ft for beginners. As it’s in the middle of short/long boards. All depends on how it floats you and what you prefer to do. Fast quick waves or long rolling ‘cruisin’ waves. Also, Where you want to go. But I think it’s a decent one. The pintail is gonna be more stable and less ‘tipsy’ compared to others.

If you look on his upper, you can see there’s no “bulge” (or whatever the proper term for it sticks out a little) to allow the cam pin to rotate.

Edit: I indeed said cam, I meant cam pin, because typing on my iPad sucks.

Injection molded piece of shit popout made in Taiwan. That board is the equivalent of a spacer lift... Go talk to a local shaper
