    Well, I might have the headlights put in at the same time. I'll drop the truck off while I'm in North Carolina with my family next month, and it'll be ready when I get back!

    Not really. They were purposeful mods. Getting more into vanity mods now.

    I'm not getting the off-road bumper. I am just buying a Toyota OEM bumper. By vanity mods, do you mean the headlights?

    Don’t mess with tinting your lights, insurance will find away not to help you out, don’t give them the opportunity.

    I'm not tinting the lights. I'm getting drop-in replacements with black accents.

    I spotted this Corolla (I believe it to be a 1998-1999 model) in the parking lot of my gym on Monday. If you look closely in the lower left corner of the windshield, you will see that the emissions sticker (yellow sticker on the right) expired last month, and the safety inspection sticker (green sticker on the left) expired more than three years ago! The car is also missing a hubcap and obviously needs a professional detailing, but other than those two things and the expired inspection stickers, it just looks like an older car in need of some TLC. If you look closely, you will notice that the emissions sticker says "EXEMPT." In Pennsylvania, safety inspections are required statewide for all vehicles not registered as antique/historic. Emissions testing is required in 25 of the 67 counties, but if a vehicle is driven less than 5,000 miles a year, it is exempt from emissions. Look at any grocery store parking lot and you will find a large number of American-made sedans, typically more than 10 years old but in immaculate condition, with "EXEMPT" emissions stickers. One notable example would be a 1990 Plymouth Acclaim, fully loaded and in showroom-new condition, that can regularly be seen in the parking lot of Acme. This is because these cars are most definitely driven by senior citizens, who don't drive as often as younger motorists.

    IMG_7021.jpg

    From this angle, however, it looks like something you'd see on an episode of Hoarders! There is literally just enough room for the driver in this car, but that is the least of their problems...

    I've let the cab of my Tacoma get messy before, but this is just ridiculous! You might also notice that the front passenger window seems to have been pushed in, almost entirely off of it's track...

    IMG_7020.jpg

    Looking at the Hoarder-mobile from the rear, you can see that the car itself is actually in decent shape. Throw out everything inside the car and leave it with a professional detailer for a day, and you'd have yourself a very nice Corolla. If you look closely at the back of the car, you will see that the rear end is quite low to the ground which is indicative of overloading. If one were to pop the trunk, there would probably be an explosion of clothes, garbage, and who knows what else...

    Also, the fact that the emissions sticker has only been expired for a few days but the safety inspection sticker expired more than three years ago, tells me that this car has some unseen safety issue that the owner is too poor or too lazy to fix...

    Here that car would be crawling with cock roaches. I don’t let anyone eat in either one of my vehicles.

    One time my boss's house had ants, which found their way into her clothing, which I happened to be taking to the dry cleaners for her...

    I found ants in my Tacoma later that day, and needless to say that was one of those rare times where I yelled at my boss (and got away with it)!

    @El Duderino

    My boss, who also happens to be a mentor and one of my closest friends, still can't fully comprehend my obsession with my Tacoma. One two separate occasions, she's been quoted as saying "Jesus Christ, it's a Tacoma, not a goddamn Maserati!" and "You treat that thing like a Rolls-Royce!"
